Born with naturally thin, short, and straight eyelashes, mascaras never worked. I tried faux eyelash strips, but I can never place it correctly without damaging my natural eyelashes. Then, I was introduced to lash extensions in 2014. I fell in love. It felt natural, and it made me feel pretty. Overtime, it became inconvenient and expensive as I would have to go back to the salon every 2-3 weeks. To top it off, I gradually developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive, which would leave my eyes red for a couple of days. Also being in the military and having to move every few years made it difficult to find a reputable lash artist with affordable pricing. As I move closer to retirement from the military, I've always dreamed of owning a business. I saw an opportunity, and Glow Cosmetics was created.

I serve many roles in my active, daily life that I have minimal time for a beauty routine. I always admired the all-natural look and long, curly eyelashes. To achieve that, I searched for products that could provide salon-quality lash extensions in minutes and without leaving my home. At the time, there were very few DIY extensions available, and none of them had what I was looking for.
